These systems help individuals diagnosed with congenital or acquired medical disorders affecting oral and written communication capabilities. After completing this course participants will know how to identify candidates for AAC, the features of symbol systems used in aided and unaided communication systems and the benefits and challenges of high-tech and low-tech solutions.
