Description
The threat of a pandemic of the avian flu is imminent. Understanding the origins, pathology, symptoms, and treatment of the avian flu is required of those involved in preparing for an outbreak or in minimizing the effects of such an outbreak. This course will help to familiarize the learner with avian flu and provide information and guidelines for developing coping strategies to minimize its impact should a pandemic strike the U.S.
