I am honored to lead the Care2learn team as Executive VP and General Manager. I joined Care2learn in August of 2006 with the goal and mandate to take Care2learn to the next level and we are certainly well on our way to that end. In my core, I am an explorer and a dreamer with an instinct to take the road less traveled and an eye to the next horizon. This instinct started early for me when at age 6, I left my mother at a Birmingham, AL department store and hitchhiked 10 miles home!
I am also a competitor, having played multiple sports through my high school years, culminating in collegiate baseball where I was fortunate to letter all 4 years at Georgia Tech. I love working with and leading teams. It is why I love small companies and Care2learn where there are endless opportunities and the potential to do something special.
As to my background, my previous role was VP Sales for Stanley Senior Technologies in Lincoln NE, a 40M division of Stanley Works producing medical equipment and software to the healthcare market. I managed a staff of 35, made up of telesales, new field sales, and dealer channels. For 3 years, STI was the most profitable division at Stanley. Overall, I have over 25 years in executive sales leadership within the healthcare technology sector, mostly with small companies looking to grow beyond their existing borders.
As to my personal priorities, I love my family…starting with my college sweetheart, Michelle and our 4 lovely daughters, Erica, Lesley, Gracelyn and Faith. We are involved with our church and in providing mentorship with college students every week in our home. I still love sports, but now I love to run, play golf and travel.
I earned a Bachelor of Science from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
